FIVE (5) DIFFERENT STYLES OF MEN LEATHER WALLETS
Men’s leather wallets: it may appear to be a simple category, but men’s wallets come in apparently unlimited varieties. You’d think finding the proper one would be simple, but the abundance of alternatives can make the endeavor seem impossible. To make things easier, we’ve divided the entire category into 5 types of men’s leather wallets. Any wallet will fall into one of these categories, so think about the benefits and drawbacks of each before deciding which is best for you.
- Bifold Wallets
Bi-fold wallets have two portions (thus the “bi” in the name). The wallet is folded in half to seal it. A leather bifold wallet is usually slimmer than a trifold wallet because it is only folded once (depending on how it is filled, of course). Although the two sections, rather than the three in a trifold, provide slightly less space for cards, the slimmer design is usually a better choice for carrying the wallet in a pants pocket.
- Wallets with Tri-folding
Billfolds with three parts (thus the name “tri”) and two folds are known as tri-fold wallets. Leather trifold wallets are thicker than leather bifold wallets since they are folded twice, however depending on the design, a trifold wallet may take up less room in a pocket than a bifold. Because this wallet is divided into thirds, it usually has more capacity for debit/credit cards, business cards, and identification than a bifold. Many bi-fold men wallet designs are available on our website.
- Wallets for Cheque-book
Cheque-book wallets are more than just a cover for your cheque-book. A good cheque-book wallet will contain a place for your cheque-book (traveler’s checks or cash), as well as cards and identification. Because they don’t fold your bills, these wallets aren’t considered billfolds. A leather cheque-book wallet has a sophisticated air and tucks well into a breast pocket, whether you plan to use it mostly for checks, cash, every day, or travel.
When you need your passport, whether you’re traveling across the globe or just across town, having it in one location with the rest of your things can be a lifesaver. Leather travel wallets come to mind. Travel wallets (also known as passport wallets) are the perfect size for carrying your passport, some cash, and a few cards. Travel wallets are also ideal for use as a field notes journal cover, allowing you to scribble down all of your thoughts and goals as you go.
